Requirements for Studying in Ireland After 12th

A minimum academic score of 60% and above is required in Class 12 for Studying in Ireland. Those candidates who have secured 50% & above can apply for Foundations & Diploma programmes. The student should have attained a minimum age of 18 before applying for a degree programme. Following Documents have to be submitted for Studying in Ireland:

English Requirements to Study in Ireland:

Any of the IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores are mandatory English proficiency test scores to be submitted to Study in Ireland. The minimum score required for admission in top universities of Ireland will vary from one to another.

a)    IELTS Requirements: IELTS stand for International English Language Testing System. It is a combined test for Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking skills. The minimum overall IELTS band score required is 6.5 and also, candidates shouldn’t score less than 5.5 in individual sections.

b)   TOEFL Requirements: TOEFL English test is also accepted as an eligibility criterion to Study in Ireland. The TOEFL score varies between 79 and 92 as an admission criterion for admission criteria in Irish Universities.

c)    PTE Requirements: PTE (also known as Pearson Test of English) is also fast gaining popularity among students. PTE tests assess the reading, writing, listening and speaking skills of students. A minimum score of 63 is required to be scored in PTE with no section should contain below 59 score.

d)   GMAT: Most business school will require you to have an GMAT score between 550 to 600 to study MBA in Ireland.

What are the requirements for studying in Ireland?

·         Bachelor’s Programs: You have to submit all the necessary academic and other required documents. Also, you have to submit IELTS/TOEFL/PTE English proficiency test scores.

·         Master’s Programs: You have to score the required scores in Bachelor’s degree. Also need to submit the necessary English proficiency test scores IELTS/TOEFL/PTE.
